Caroline thanked Coach Raffi for helping perfect her shooting form, which gave her the confidence to score over 100 points this season, including an overtime game-winning shot.
Enrolling children in a basketball program can help them develop primary skills and teach them how to support one another in sports and in life.
As a Watertown native, 'Coach Raf' was the Captain, defensive stopper, and awarded MVP of the 1980 Graduation Class. He has coached basketball and played alongside Division I players at the Watertown Boys and Girls Club Summer League. His area of expertise is shooting. He once made 1,000 shots in 2 hours and won multiple shooting competitions (where he made 100 free throws in 5 minutes)to donate to charity organizations.
He teaches mental focus and consistency of shooting.
Niles Cohen (Coach Niles), a Cambridge, Massachusetts native, played basketball for Wheaton College, where he walked on as a sophomore and played a significant role. He also majored in Film+ New Media Studies while at Wheaton. He has trained players and young kids for about seven years and even coached the Brookline High School varsity basketball team in a summer league. Niles’s training focuses on improving basketball skills, focus, confidence, and conditioning because in order to reach peak performance, you must be in shape and believe in your abilities.
Born in Boston, (Coach Eric) moved to Burlington in 1st grade. He played basketball for Burlington High School, was a 2x league all-star, 1x all-conference player, and Burlington High School outstanding athlete. Eric Attends SNHU (Southern New Hampshire University) with a concentration in Criminals Justice. He has worked at basketball camps every summer, helping kids find their love for basketball. He believes in the power of shooting and the ability to play defense at a high level. "First, you have to love the game, then everything else will come."

Alyvia Peña (Coach Liv) is a Burlington native. She is known for her exceptional skills and impressive achievements on the court. As the all-time leading scorer in Burlington High School girls' basketball history and the first player in the program to reach the 1,000-point milestone, Alyvia has set a high standard of excellence. Throughout her career, Alyvia is a 4-time Freedom Division All-Star, a testament to her consistent performance and dedication to the sport. She has also been named to the Middlesex League All-Conference team twice and earned the prestigious 2022-2023 Middlesex League Freedom Co-MVP title. Alyvia's leadership and prowess were pivotal in her team's success, including an undefeated season as the 2020-2021 Middlesex League Champions. Her outstanding contributions to her team were acknowledged when she received the 2023 Female Red Devil Award. Alyvia Peña's basketball accomplishments speak volumes about her talent, hard work, and commitment to her sport. She continues to inspire her peers and set a remarkable example for future athletes.

Alexa Kelley (Coach Alexa) played for Wilmington High School before committing to WSU to continue her basketball career. After transferring to the University of Massachusetts Amherst for a dual sports management and legal studies degree, she worked for the Women's Basketball Team alongside top-tier Division 1 coaches. Her extensive experience includes playing at various levels, from AAU competitions to college camps, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the game. As a former PG/SG who thrives on the three-point shot, she specializes in developing sharpshooting skills and strategic gameplay. Her coaching goes beyond the court. With two years of experience as a group fitness instructor and recent work as a strength and conditioning coach intern, she understands the importance of holistic training to maximize performance.

Coach DaeShawn Beasley was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He played basketball at Wright State Lake University, where he currently holds the record for points, assists, and rebounds. He played professionally in Orlando, Florida, for the Florida Flight Basketball Association and Italy and Spain. He has been coaching basketball for the past four years. Three of those years were at the high school level in Orlando, Florida, and the last year he has been the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Pine Manor College. Coach Beasley has a wealth of basketball knowledge to offer our young athletes. He believes in progression, not perfection, as his means of training. He emphasizes the repetition of fundamentals in basketball.
